What makes your accessories special?
All our pieces are handmade with love and attention to detail in Nisyros, Greece. Each accessory is crafted from quality fabrics and every stitch reflects the care of artisanal craftsmanship — not mass production.
Handmade means that no two pieces are exactly the same. Small variations in fabric pattern placement or stitching are part of what makes your item unique and beautiful.
Are your products truly handmade?
Yes! Each product is cut, sewn, and finished by hand — often made-to-order based on the options you choose at checkout.
This is different from factory-made goods. Your accessory is a crafted creation, not an identical item off an assembly line.
Can I request a custom size or personalization?
Absolutely! We love creating custom and personalized items. During the ordering process, you can choose from available customization options (e.g., size, fabrics, embroidery).
If you have a special request not listed on the product page, just drop us a message — we’ll do our best to bring your idea to life.
Custom items may take slightly longer to produce than ready-to-ship products.
What fabrics do you use?
We use a variety of carefully selected textiles suitable for bags, accessories, and travel items. Each fabric is chosen for its durability, texture, and visual character. Because these are natural materials, some variation in color and pattern should be expected.

How do I place an order?
Just browse our collection, choose the product you love, select any personalization options, and add it to your cart.
At checkout, enter your shipping details, pay securely, and you’re done!
We accept secure payments via:
- Stripe
- PayPal
Your payment details are processed securely and we never store full card information on our site.
Can I cancel or change my order after it’s been placed?
If your order hasn’t yet entered production, we may be able to make changes. Please contact us as soon as possible at thesewingbarrel@gmail.com.
Once production has begun, we cannot guarantee changes to personalization details.
🚚 SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Where do you ship?
We ship worldwide, including:
- Greece
- European Union
- International destinations (where available)
Shipping costs and delivery times are calculated at checkout and vary by destination.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Because our accessories are handcrafted and often customized for you:
- Processing time: usually 3–10 business days
- Shipping: varies by destination and service selected
You will receive tracking information once your order is dispatched.
Do I have to pay customs fees?
Customers outside the EU may be responsible for customs duties, taxes, or import fees, depending on their country’s regulations. These are not included in the checkout price.
🔁 RETURNS + EXCHANGES
Can I return a handmade or personalized item?
Due to the bespoke nature of handmade and customized products, personalized items are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
Non-personalized items may be returned within 14 days of delivery if they are unused, in original condition, and with tags intact.

What if my item arrives damaged?
We take great care with packaging, but if something arrives damaged or defective, email us within 48 hours of delivery with photos.
We’ll gladly repair, replace, or refund the item depending on the situation.

To keep your piece looking its best:
- Spot clean with a damp cloth
- Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach
- Allow fabrics to air dry
- Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight

Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes — you can select gift packaging at checkout (when available).
Let us know in your order notes if you’d like a custom message included.
Can I send an order directly to someone as a gift?
Absolutely! Just enter the recipient’s address at checkout and add a personalized note in the “Order Notes” section.
